工作上的“朋友”

某日，有位朋友很懊恼地问我：她不计较付出，早到迟退，负责任完成工作，是否有错？只因她的“朋友”投诉她［太勤力］只是在破坏行情。上司欣赏她，同事们排挤她，让她难过。

听完之后，我不假思索便斩钉栽铁回答她：“100%沒做錯！” 请问对工作充满热诚，全力以赴，有错吗？对工作负责任，对上司服从，敬重他，有错吗？不计较得失，以大局为重，把teamwork做好，有错吗？

我有个senior，我们可以是所谓的同事，却比任何人都了解何谓工作上的朋友。由于公司严重缺乏人手，上司要求又高，令我们的工作量犹如排山倒海般，压得我们喘不过气。但我们却心照不宣，一起撑到底，上刀山，落火海，出生入死。一句：要帮忙吗？一起快快settle然后撇。可说是职场上难得可贵的一句话。

反问那些只会逃避，爱把责任推给别人的人；每天埋怨没机会，却不行动的人；表现不好，只会抱怨没时间，上司不会欣赏，其实是自己能力不足，又不肯努力，不能吃苦的人；妒忌别人成就，不帮忙还落井下石，说人破坏行情的人，是朋友吗？

每天我都戴面具去上班

我没有不快乐，也不辛苦

我只是在马戏团上班的小丑

How good do you want to be

"Your vision of where or who you want to be is the greatest asset you have. Without having a goal it's difficult to score."

Some lessons i learned and used all-time:

1. If you get stuck, draw with a different pen.
   
2. Do not covet your ideas.
   
3. Don't take no for an answer.
   
4. Don't be afraid of silly ideas.
   
5. Do not try to win awards.
   
6. When it can't be done, do it. If you don't do it, it doesn't exist.
   
7. Get out of advertising.
   

Paul Arden's book was a truly inspirational source for me not just on the passion for creative industry but life. Thanks Paul. RIP.

Creative

Something same like the old one, but different.
Something haven't seen before.
Something unexpected.
Something accidently done.
Something wrong and risky.
Something unfamiliar, or silly, or both.

I don't know. I just trying not to be creative to be creative.

Dark side

There's a little devil standing behind me every time i start

working on something. He is so negative, and keep on saying,

"This is boring. Just deal with it."

"That's hopeless."

"It was a stupid brief!"

"Try it next time."

"It is impossible!"

I was lucky enough that didn't influence by him because i just

a stupid workaholic. "Sorry, dude. I was too busy. Pardon?"
